A notification pool is currently a completely unimplemented concept of allowing notifications to dispatched across any number of guifications-daemon's to be able to notify you where ever you are. Of course if you're on the road, you aren't going to care about someone signing in or out on Gaim, so of course priorities and controls for dispatching will be available.
